Reading Promotion Week is a celebration that aims to encourage students to develop a love for reading. It can include a variety of activities, such as:
- Book exhibitions: Display books to encourage students to explore different genres
- Bookmark design contests: Students can showcase their creativity by designing bookmarks
- Essay writing competitions: Students can reflect on their favorite books
- Book review writing competitions: Students can summarize and analyze their readings
- Quiz competitions: Students can test their knowledge of books and authors
- Book-making competitions: Students can create short stories and comics
- Hindi story or poem telling contests: Students can celebrate Hindi literature and showcase their public speaking skills
Reading Promotion Week is part of the Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India program.
